Post your request

Describe what you want carved — subject, size, style, materials, or any inspiration you have. Set your budget and an optional deadline. Any signed-in member can post.

A carver claims it

Guild Members browse open requests and claim the ones that fit their skills. Only one carver can claim each request. Your email is only revealed to them at that moment.

Work it out directly

The carver reaches out to discuss the details — timeline, exact dimensions, materials, and final price. Your posted budget is a starting point; the carver may adjust based on scope.

Delivery & shipping

Shipping, freight, and pickup terms are agreed between you and the carver directly. For large pieces — bears, totem poles, furniture — expect freight costs. Include location or pickup preference in your description to help carvers plan.

Note for carvers: When you claim a request, be upfront about your timeline and any price adjustments. The posted budget is what the requester has in mind — if the work requires more, discuss it before starting.
