1. Community Standards

The Chain & Chisel Artists Guild is a community built on respect, craft, and a shared love of carving. All members are expected to uphold the following standards at all times within any CCAG space — public forums, group discussions, events, and any official CCAG platform.

  • No bullying or harassment. Intimidation, personal attacks, threats, or any form of targeted harassment toward members or the public will not be tolerated.
  • No racism or discrimination. Racist language, slurs, discriminatory remarks, or content targeting any person based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin is strictly prohibited.
  • No political or religious content in public forums. Political opinions, religious debates, and related content have no place in CCAG's public or group spaces. Keep discussions focused on carving, craft, and community.
  • Private conversations are your own — but members are still expected to treat each other with decency and respect in private messages. We strongly encourage keeping it about the craft.

2. Content & Conduct

  • Members are responsible for all content they post or submit through CCAG platforms.
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, or self-promotion outside designated areas is not permitted.
  • Members may not misrepresent their credentials, competition history, or professional experience.
  • Content that violates local, state, or federal law is prohibited.

3. Directory & Profile

  • Your profile information — including name, location, discipline, and any submitted photos or links — may be publicly visible in the CCAG member directory.
  • You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and up to date.
  • CCAG may use member profiles for promotional purposes including social media, newsletters, and the CCAG website. You will be credited by name.

4. Account Termination

CCAG reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any membership account at any time, with or without warning, and for any reason — including but not limited to violations of these terms, conduct unbecoming of a guild member, or at the sole discretion of CCAG administration. Terminated members may not reapply without express written permission from CCAG.

5. Modifications

CCAG reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

CCAG is not responsible for the accuracy of member-submitted content, disputes between members, or any damages arising from use of CCAG platforms or attendance at CCAG-affiliated events.
